Building Community Resilience on COVID-19: Lessons Learned Convening – Q&A with Dr. Ike Mack

The HealthWorks Consortium places emphasis on increasing COVID-19 vaccine confidence and building organizational capacity among communities of color. As members of the Consortium, Georgia CEAL focuses on elevating the skills and capacity of community serving organizations to provide COVID-19 education and vaccination services by offering mini-grants to communities across the state.

On December 1, 2022, eight member organizations gathered to discuss:
The benefits of creating resilient community-based organizations;
Best practices on stopping the spread of COVID-19;
The importance of COVID-19 vaccinations in our communities; and
Navigating unique processes for rapid implementation projects.

Here is Dr. Ike Mack, President of the Fellowship Missionary Baptist Convention of GA, Inc sharing lessons learned and the role of faith leaders in providing accurate Covid-19 information.
